Image via WikipediaAfter the reports of Rosie O'Donnell's comments about The View and the alleged non-camaraderie there, Barbara Walters had this to say today on The View:

"We're very proud of some of some of our alumni--Meredith Viera, who has this wonderful job (Today Show Co-Host) and Lisa Ling and I mean, we take delight in people who've gone on but there are some people who've done this show and then for years feel they have to dump on it. Maybe for publicity and that not only hurts me, but I resent it. So, if the shoe fits, lady----ladiES---get on with your lives. We are not perfect, we are not always happy, but we're pretty good."

Joy Behar responds, "We're a semi-dis-functional family, but there's no reason to go overboard about how we don't get along. We get along pretty well."

Elisabeth Hasselbeck joins in, "To do what we do everyday, it takes a certain amount of respect across the table. We've had incredible years---maybe one more difficult than others in the past............."

The audience stars laughing as does Whoopi, while Barbara Walter's eyes get big as she bites her lip and grins.........after a few giggles, they 'get on with it.'
