Richardson most recently captured Bravo fans' attention when she appeared on "Top Chef" to promote amfAR, a personal commitment since her father's death of AIDS-related causes. amfAR along with Richardson's family created a special fund for those who wish to donate in her honor – all donations can be made at www.amfAR.org.
The "A-List" trophy was once again created by design guru and "Top Design" head judge Jonathan Adler, one of the country's leading interior designers and whose company has grown to become an internationally recognized lifestyle and home furnishings brand offering tabletop, bedding, bath accessories, furniture, rugs, pillows and lighting.
For the first time ever, Housewives from all three Bravo series – Orange County, New York City and Atlanta – will meet up for a fashion face-off for charity. The women will join together for an interactive fashion show in which the A-List audience at home will vote to award $10,000 to the winning housewife's charity of choice. Viewers can text which housewife they think deserves to win, or go online on www.BravoTV.com for video, photo galleries and to vote for their favorite.

NBC "Kings" Premiere March 15, 2009
Posted by bloggergal | 10:44 PM | kings, reality tv dish | 1 comments »King Silas Benjamin (Ian McShane, "Deadwood") is the well-entrenched king of Gilboa, whose flag bears a divine butterfly symbol. Gilboa has its capital in Shiloh, a clean new city that is unspoiled by time or litter. Silas must deal with the tensions rising between Gilboa and neighboring nation Gath. When several prisoners of war are taken, a young soldier, David Shepherd (Chris Egan, "Eragon"), defies orders and crosses enemy lines to save them. Unknown to David, the soldier he saves is Jack Benjamin (Sebastian Stan, "The Covenant"), the son of the king. From that day forth, David’s life will never be the same.
Susanna Thompson ("Once & Again") plays Queen Rose Benjamin, a distant, yet supportive wife. Allison Miller ("Lucy’s Piano") stars as King Silas’ beautiful, intelligent and outspoken daughter, Michelle. General Linus Abner (Wes Studi, "Comanche Moon," "Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee"), Reverend Ephram Samuels (Eamonn Walker, "Oz") and William Cross, Silas’ brother-in-law (Dylan Baker, "Spiderman 2"), try to influence King Silas.

Ashlee Simpson to join Melrose Place
Posted by bloggergal | 2:31 PM | celebrity dish, tv dish | 0 comments »Multiple sources confirm to Entertainment Weekly's EW.com
that singer-songwriter-sometime actress Ashlee Simpson has become the latest tenant of The CW's in-the-works Melrose Place reboot.
The onetime 7th Heaven star will play small-town girl Violet, a character whose disarming naiveté masks the calculating, shrewd sex kitten within. In other words, the little tramp's Sydney.
Simpson joins a cast that so far includes Katie Cassidy (as ambitious publicist Ella), Michael Rady (as aspiring filmmaker Jonah), and, if there is a God, original Melrose icon Heather Locklear, who would be slipping back into Amanda Woodward's office microminis. "Both sides are talking," whispers EW.com's Melrose mole of Locklear. "It's looking good."
Melrose 2.0, which is considered a lock to land a spot on The CW's fall sked (most likely on Tuesdays after 90210), is being shepherded by Smallville's Darren Swimmer and Todd Slavkin. Oscar winner Davis Guggenheim (An Inconvenient Truth) has been tapped to direct the pilot.
Now for the big question: Did Simpson score the part that Mischa Barton had been circling? EW.com's sources say no. That means the ex-O.C. siren is in talks to play straight-arrow med student Lauren or revoltingly sweet schoolteacher Riley.

"At the end of the season, we will address the title of our show," reveals Bays, adding that the last four episodes will feature "big events in the lives of our characters -- specifically Ted (Josh Radnor). We're going to wrap up some things that have been left dangling."
Translation: Ausiello thinks the M-bomb's about to be dropped!
Bays wouldn't elaborate on the nature of the revelation (i.e. Will the mom actually be ID'd?) or how it might figure into this season's cliffhanger. "But I will say at the very least that the season will end with a complete sentence," he teases. "We've left some sentence fragments dangling in past seasons, but this year, there will either be a period, a question mark or an exclamation point. We will be giving the audience that."
